The registration certificate incorporates the kilometres and the validity of the PTI since January.
Our centres have been recording the mileage of vehicles since 2013. From the 15th January 2015, the registration certificate of the vehicle incorporates mileage and the validity of the Vehicle Inspection (PTI).
From now on, trucks and buses that exceed 10 tonnes of MMA will be forced to undergo the vehicle technical inspection with their load in order to check the correct working order of their braking systems.
This measure follows the implementation of Directive 2010/48 that regulates the technical inspections of vehicles, and will ensure that all industrial vehicles with a MMA in excess of 3,500 kg will now be forced to undergo the new loaded inspection (using at least 2/3 of its capacity or 66%?) with the aim to check the corresponding braking system.
