Como repetimos desde Supervisi\u00f3n y Control, la seguridad vial empieza por contar con un veh\u00edculo en buenas condiciones<\/strong>. No obstante, somos conscientes de que por los apuros que provoca la crisis econ\u00f3mica, cada vez m\u00e1s coru\u00f1eses tratan de eludir los gastos de mantenimiento que supone tener el veh\u00edculo en regla. De hecho, en 2013 la Polic\u00eda Local impuso 2.119 denuncias por circular sin ITV<\/strong>, con deficiencias t\u00e9cnicas o sin seguro obligatorio, en el t\u00e9rmino municipal: un 15,5% m\u00e1s que en el a\u00f1o anterior. En un evento celebrado en el Club Financiero Atl\u00e1ntico, nuestra portavoz, Carmen Fern\u00e1ndez, y nuestro director general, Juan Diego Rodr\u00edguez, presentaron estos datos. Tambi\u00e9n hay que se\u00f1alar el progresivo envejecimiento del parque m\u00f3vil, que se percibe por el aumento en el n\u00famero de inspecciones peri\u00f3dicas<\/strong>. SYC \u00b7 ITV se\u00f1ala que la edad media de los veh\u00edculos en 2009 era de 9 a\u00f1os y que actualmente ya ronda los 12. A pesar de todo, Rodr\u00edguez puntualiz\u00f3 que la campa\u00f1a de avisos de la DGT est\u00e1 ayudando a concienciar a los conductores de la importancia de llevar a cabo las revisiones cuando es debido. Adem\u00e1s, la propia concesionaria mantiene un sistema de avisos a los propietarios. Seg\u00fan un estudio realizado por la universidad Carlos III de Madrid, las revisiones de ITV llevadas a cabo durante el a\u00f1o pasado habr\u00edan evitado 1.100 accidentes, 17 fallecidos y 1.100 heridos.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
